Tomorrow….

My computer seems to be giving me problems tonight, so I will keep this short and make more comment tomorrow. Have you ever thought about how we celebrate the Lord’s Supper. I feel as Baptists, too many times we degrade this ordinance in order to defend it as an ordinance. What do I mean? Tune in tomorrow and find out.

Sorry for the Delay

Hello everyone, I apologize for the time away form the blog here. I have been terribly sick this week. But I will try to fill you in on all the updates and happenings this week.

The big news is that I have been named as the new principal of South Shore Christian Academy. I was not really a position I sought out, as it was one that was handed to me. Please pray that God will give me the wisom to make the right decisions and the strength to carry them out.

As for preaching this week, we held a special split chapel there at the school. I taught two of the sessions. Here is the one lecture I gave to the teens, Six Principles for Relating to Women Biblically - it is mp3 format.

Another Lord’s Day

How was your Lord’s day today? Isn’t it wonderful to come into God’s house and hear His Word faithfully taught and preached?

Today I am still overcoming the weekend flu I’ve been battling. Seems like half the church has it. My pastor was sick tonight, so I was asked to preach. My text was Isaiah 43. This is just one of those texts that stands by itself, I almost feel guilty even adding my comments to it. Here is the outline I gave:

God is God – His Ownership Cannot Be Denied
God is God – His Love Cannot Be Lost
God is God – His Will Cannot Be Thwarted
God is God – His Existence Cannot Be Ignored
God is God – His Uniqueness Cannot Be Compared
God is God – His Salvation Cannot Be Forgotten
